In an era of accelerating marine degradation, climate change, and food‑security risk, advancing fisheries and aquatic science is more urgent than ever. The 8th INCOFIMS answers this global challenge by convening researchers, industry practitioners, and policy‑makers to share breakthrough ideas that support the United Nations SDGs—especially SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 14 (Life Below Water).

Hosted by the Faculty of Fisheries & Marine, Universitas Airlangga and held onsite in Bali (Harris Sunset Road Hotel), 3–4 September 2025, the conference runs in synergy with the 6th International Conference on Biotechnology & Fisheries Product (INCOBIFS), expanding the platform to seafood processing and marine biotechnology.
