The Faculty of Vocational Studies, Universitas Airlangga, proudly presents the 7th International Conference on Vocational Innovation and Applied Sciences (ICVIAS 2025). Themed “A Multidisciplinary Collaboration for a Healthier World: Building Resilient Communities through Innovations Across Health, Engineering, and Business,” this conference serves as a scientific platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, professionals, and students from various disciplines to present and disseminate their applied research, ideas, and innovations.

The 7th ICVIAS 2025 addresses emerging challenges through a multidisciplinary lens, highlighting the interconnected roles of engineering, business, and health. Engineering fields such as informatics, automation, and ICTs drive digital transformation and disaster response, while business disciplines like digital marketing, virtual tourism, and creative economics support economic resilience and innovation. Health-related areas—including diagnostic technology, public health, and health information systems—are vital for inclusive, resilient healthcare. These domains converge as engineering innovations enhance healthcare and digital platforms expand access to services, with business strategies enabling scalable solutions. This synergy is key to building adaptive, sustainable systems in a rapidly evolving world.

In alignment with its central theme, “A Multidisciplinary Collaboration for a Healthier World through Building Resilient Communities and Advancing Innovations in Health, Engineering, and Business” 7th ICVIAS 2025 aims to bring together diverse stakeholders from vocational education, research, industry, and policymaking. The conference seeks to strengthen the role of applied sciences in addressing complex global challenges through cross-sector collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange. The specific objectives of this event are as follows:

  1. To provide an international scientific platform for researchers, academics, practitioners, and students to present and discuss applied research in health, engineering, and business.
  2. To promote the dissemination of innovative solutions that enhance access to health technology, tourism resilience, and sustainable business practices.
  3. To encourage the integration of Artificial Intelligence and digital technologies in diagnostic systems, health information, and business innovation.
  4. To strengthen the role of vocational education in bridging academia, industry, and society through practical, scalable, and impactful research.
