Publication Opportunities

The 9th International Conference on Fisheries and Marine Sciences (INCOFIMS 2026) and the 7th International Conference on Biotechnology and Food Sciences (INCOBIFS 2026) are committed to providing meaningful publication opportunities for researchers, academicians, industry professionals, policymakers, and postgraduate students through collaborations with reputable national and international publication partners. 

 The conferences aim to facilitate the dissemination of high-quality scientific research and promote academic excellence in fisheries, marine sciences, aquaculture, aquatic resources management, fish health, seafood processing technology, food sciences, biotechnology, sustainability, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Accepted papers presented at INCOFIMS–INCOBIFS 2026 may be considered for publication through selected publication pathways, including collaborating Scopus-indexed partner journals. Publication opportunities are subject to each journal’s scope, editorial policies, publication requirements, and available publication capacity. Selected manuscripts may be recommended to appropriate partner journals based on scientific quality, originality, relevance to the journal scope, and compliance with publication ethics standards. However, all recommended manuscripts must be submitted through the respective journal’s official submission system and will undergo the journal’s independent editorial screening, plagiarism check, peer-review process, and final editorial evaluation.

Publication decisions are made independently by the editorial boards and publishers of each partner journal. Acceptance for presentation at INCOFIMS–INCOBIFS 2026 does not guarantee publication in any specific journal, indexing database, proceedings series, or publication outlet. The Organizing Committee may conduct an initial screening of submitted manuscripts and recommend high-quality papers to suitable publication partners, but the final acceptance decision remains entirely under the authority of the respective journal editors and publishers. Information regarding publication partners, publication pathways, article processing charges, indexing status, manuscript scope alignment, and submission procedures will be announced progressively through the official conference website and communication channels upon confirmation.

Scopus-Indexed Partner 

Journals INCOFIMS–INCOBIFS 2026 collaborates with selected Scopus-indexed partner journals to provide publication opportunities for eligible manuscripts. Manuscripts will be recommended to the most suitable journal based on scope alignment, scientific quality, originality, and compliance with publication ethics. Final publication decisions remain fully under the authority of each journal’s editorial board and publisher. 

1. Jurnal Ilmiah Perikanan dan Kelautan (JIPK) 

Publisher: Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga Main Scope: Fisheries, aquaculture, marine science, fish health, aquatic resource management, fisheries biotechnology, molecular genetics, food science, nanotechnology, and related marine-fisheries disciplines. Suitable for: INCOFIMS manuscripts and selected interdisciplinary manuscripts related to fisheries, marine science, aquaculture, aquatic health, biotechnology, and food science.

2. Jurnal Pengolahan Hasil Perikanan Indonesia (JPHPI) 

Publisher: Department of Aquatic Product Technology, IPB University 

Main Scope: Aquatic product technology, seafood processing, food science, aquatic biotechnology, aquatic biochemistry, post-harvest fisheries technology, quality, standardization, and aquatic product diversification. Suitable for: INCOBIFS manuscripts and selected INCOFIMS manuscripts related to aquatic product technology, seafood processing, post-harvest fisheries, food biotechnology, and aquatic-based food science.

Scopus-Indexed Partner Journals for INCOFIMS–INCOBIFS 2026

INCOFIMS–INCOBIFS 2026 provides publication opportunities through selected Scopus-indexed partner journals. Authors are invited to access the official journal websites, registration pages, and submission guidelines by scanning the QR codes provided. All manuscripts recommended for journal publication will undergo independent editorial screening, plagiarism checking, peer review, and final decision-making by the respective journal editors and publishers. Acceptance for conference presentation does not guarantee journal publication.

Plagiarism Guidelines 

To uphold academic integrity and ensure the quality of all conference outputs, INCOFIMS & INCOBIFS 2025 implement a strict anti-plagiarism policy for all submitted manuscripts, posters, and conference proceedings. 

 🔎 Definition of Plagiarism 

Plagiarism is defined as the use of another individual’s ideas, words, figures, or work without proper acknowledgment, whether intentionally or unintentionally. This includes: Copying text from published articles, theses, or websites without citation. Rephrasing another’s ideas without credit. Submitting content that has been previously published by the author (self-plagiarism) without appropriate disclosure. 

🧪 Plagiarism Screening Policy 

All submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening using a reputable similarity detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or ASPHER-based tools) prior to the peer review process.

Similarity Score                  Editorial Decision 
< 5%                         Accepted with minor editing (ensure proper citation and referencing). 
5–30%                       Returned to the author for revision and proper source attribution.
> 30%      Rejected due to excessive similarity. Resubmission allowed only after major revision.

 Note: Manuscripts with high similarity may be rejected without review, especially if the overlap includes improper or missing citations. 

Plagiarism Screening Timeline 

Plagiarism checks are conducted: Immediately after initial submission, Prior to peer-review assignment, Once again before final acceptance and publication 

🛡 Handling Detected Plagiarism 

If plagiarism is found at any stage: The author will be contacted immediately with the detailed report, The manuscript will be placed on hold until proper revision is submitted, In serious or repeated cases, the manuscript will be rejected, and the affiliated institution may be notified.
