Scholarship for International Participants

A limited number of scholarships are available for international participants of ICVIAS 2026, including students and faculty members/lecturers. This scholarship is intended to support selected international participants who will attend the conference onsite and actively contribute through a paper or poster presentation.

The scholarship will be awarded through a selection process. Selected recipients will receive:

  • Accommodation
  • Local transportation from the airport to the hotel and conference venue
  • Meals

Please note: International flight tickets, ICVIAS registration fees, and other personal travel expenses are not covered and must be borne by the scholarship recipients.

Student Scholarship

This scholarship category is open to active students who meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant must be an active student from a university outside Indonesia.
  • The applicant must be a non-Indonesian citizen.
  • The applicant must provide proof of student status (student ID card), proof of citizenship (passport) and university approval letter.
  • The applicant must have submitted a paper or poster to ICVIAS 2026.
  • The applicant must have completed the conference registration process.
  • The applicant must be willing to attend ICVIAS 2026 offline/onsite if selected as a scholarship recipient.
  • Selected scholarship recipients will receive accommodation support for 4 days and 3 nights, meals during the conference program, and local transportation from the official hotel to the conference venue.
  • The applicant must cover their own international flight ticket and ICVIAS registration fees.
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP - INDONESIA BASED

This scholarship category is open to international students who are currently studying at a university in Indonesia and meet the following requirements: 

  • The applicant must be an active international student at a university in Indonesia, excluding Universitas Airlangga. 
  • The applicant must be a non-Indonesian citizen. 
  • The applicant must provide proof of student status, including a valid student ID card. 
  • The applicant must provide proof of citizenship through a valid non-Indonesian passport. 
  •  The applicant must provide an official statement or approval letter from their study program, department, or academic supervisor. 
  • The applicant must have submitted a paper or poster to ICVIAS 2026. 
  • The applicant must have completed the ICVIAS 2026 registration process and paid the applicable registration fee. 
  • The applicant must be willing to attend ICVIAS 2026 offline/onsite if selected as a scholarship recipient. The applicant must present their accepted paper or poster during the conference. 
  • Selected scholarship recipients will receive accommodation support for 3 days and 2 nights, meals during the conference program, and local transportation from the official hotel to the conference venue. 
  • The scholarship does not cover transportation costs to and from the conference city or venue, including domestic travel, flights, trains, buses, ride-hailing services, or other personal travel expenses.

Faculty Member / Lecturer Scholarship

This scholarship category is open to faculty members or lecturers who meet the following requirements:

  • The applicant must be affiliated with a university outside Indonesia.
  • The applicant must be a non-Indonesian citizen.
  • The applicant must provide proof of citizenship (passport) and submit a Letter of Intent confirming their commitment to participate in ICVIAS 2026.
  • The applicant must be willing to deliver a maximum of two online guest lectures as part of the academic collaboration program for the host institution, either online or offline, within the period of July-November 2026.
  • The applicant must have submitted a paper or poster to ICVIAS 2026.
  • The applicant must have completed the conference registration process.
  • The applicant must be willing to attend ICVIAS 2026 offline/onsite if selected as a scholarship recipient.
  • Selected scholarship recipients will receive accommodation support for 4 days and 3 nights, meals during the conference program, and local transportation from the official hotel to the conference venue.
  • The applicant must cover their own international flight ticket and ICVIAS registration fees.

Application Deadline & Announcement

All scholarship applications will be reviewed by the ICVIAS 2026 committee. Since the number of scholarships is limited, applicants are encouraged to complete their paper/poster submission and registration as early as possible.
