Research Papers
ICVIAS 2026 invites submissions that highlight applied digital innovation and work-ready solutions, with a strong emphasis on practice-based approaches, implementation experience, and measurable outcomes. We welcome contributions from TVET educators, researchers, students, industry partners, certification bodies (LSP), incubators/accelerators, and public-sector practitioners who are building, deploying, evaluating, or teaching technologies that solve real problems.
Submissions may take the form of research papers, implementation/case reports, prototypes/demos, posters, and teaching innovation notes. We particularly encourage work that bridges TVET, industry, and communities, and demonstrates how technology, information, and innovation translate into skills development, service improvement, operational efficiency, and public value.

Special Workshops
As part of our commitment to fostering academic and professional growth, ICVIAS 2026 offers exclusive workshop sessions designed to equip participants with practical skills in scholarly publishing and intellectual property.
Workshop 1: Meet the Journal Editors
Featuring: Assoc. Prof. Yanti Idaya Aspura
Editor of the Malaysian Journal of Library and Information Science (MJLIS), University of Malaya (Scopus-indexed)
Through this session, participants will gain practical insights into scholarly publishing from an experienced journal editor. The workshop will discuss key aspects of preparing manuscripts for reputable journals, including aligning a paper with the journal’s aims and scope, strengthening research quality and contribution, maintaining publication ethics, and responding effectively to reviewers’ comments during the revision process.
Workshop 2: Patent Filing
A patent filing workshop offers participants practical guidance on how to prepare and submit a patent application. It covers essential topics such as drafting patent documents, understanding legal requirements, and navigating the filing process with patent authorities.
Eligibility Note: Access to these workshop sessions is included for all registered ICVIAS 2026 presenters and participants (subject to capacity).
