Guideline for Poster Presentation

POSTER COMPETITION

A. BACKGROUND

A scientific poster is a visual communication medium that is able to convey academic information in a concise, clear and attractive manner. In academic and professional contexts, posters are an important tool in disseminating research results and scientific ideas. Therefore, students' ability to design effective scientific posters needs to be fostered and facilitated through competitive activities.

The Scientific Poster Design Competition aims to explore students' potential in critical, creative, and innovative thinking. In addition, this competition is a learning event to convey scientific ideas visually that can be understood by the wider community. Students are encouraged to process scientific information into a communicative and attractive visual form.

This activity is also a place of appreciation for students who have an interest in the field of design and scientific communication. By raising actual issues in the health sector, participants are expected to be able to harmonize visual design with strong scientific substance. The results of the work are expected to enrich visual and scientific literacy in the academic environment and society.

B. TOPIC

  • Patient Safety in Primary and Outpatient Care Settings
  • Ensuring Safety During Hospital Stays and Surgical Procedures
  • Patient Safety in Telehealth and Remote Care
  • Patient Safety in Emergency and Critical Care
  • Diagnostic Safety and Quality
  • Patient Safety Training and Education
  • Patient Safety in Medical Practice
  • Public Health and Patient Safety
  • Nursing and Patient Safety: Improving Care Quality
  • Pharmacy Practice and Patient Safety: Ensuring Safe Medication
  • Patient Safety in Dentistry: Minimizing Risks in Dental Practice
  • Patient Safety in Long-Term Care
  • Patient safety from a legal perspective

C. REQUIREMENTS

Submitted Poster must meet to the requirements below:

  • a. The submitted POSTER must be related to one of the above topics;
  • b. The POSTER must be an original work that has never been published or included in a competition or other event.
  • c. The POSTER must contain scientific and communicative elements, and does not contain racism, violence, or copyright infringement.

D. QUALIFICATION

Here are qualification to join Poster Competition:

  • a. Participants are active students at the Diploma, S1, S2, or S3 levels from all universities in Indonesia and overseas.
  • b. Participants can be individuals or teams (maximum 3 people).
  • c. Participants can submit more than one POSTER.
  • d. The POSTER must be collected through the G-Form link and also uploaded on each participant's Instagram account by adding the hashtag #Icohap7th2025 #jointconference #ispsq and tagging the Icohap Instagram account (@icohap.unair) and (@pusatrisetkeselamatanpasien).
  • e. Participants are required to follow Icohap's Instagram account (@icohap.unair) and (@pusatrisetkeselamatanpasien).
  • f. Posters are made in digital format A2 size (420 x 594 mm), portrait orientation, file format: PDF/JPG/PNG.
  • g. Posters must include the following elements: Title, Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Bibliography.
  • h. Language: English.
  • i. The use of content that violates copyright, contains racism, or violence is prohibited.
  • j. Poster that do not fulfill the requirement mentioned point a - c according to the policy will be disqualified.
  • k. The judges will give an assessment at the initial selection stage, participants who pass this stage will get the opportunity to exhibit their Poster work offline on October 4, 2025 at Santika Premiere Hotel Surabaya with A2 Poster prints (420 x 594 mm).

F. REGISTRATION

  • a. Participants register online through the link/form provided by the committee through the following link:

  • b. Poster design competition participants register the registration fee of Rp 1,000,000 (early bird) and Rp 1,500,000 (regular) through an account:
    ICOHAP (Bank JATIM) bank account: 0752086460
  • c. Fill in the participant data and upload proof of payment with the format “Joint Conference 2025_Name of Participant_Name of College” and in the form of .PDF/.PNG/.JPG
  • d. Scan / Photo of Student Identity Card is uploaded with the format “Joint Conference 2025_Name of Participant_Name of College_ID”
  • e. Poster files are uploaded in the format “Joint Conference Poster_Name of Participant_Title_Name of College” and in the form of .PDF / .PNG / .JPG
  • f. Register confirmation will be sent via email to each participant.

G. REWARD

  • 1st Winner: Certificate + Doorprize
  • 2nd Winner: Certificate + Doorprize
  • 3rd Winner: Certificate + Doorprize

All poster participants will have the opportunity to get Certificate of Participant.
