Recording Your Presentation with Presenter Video

There are several options for recording your presentation alongside your video feed. Popular choices include Zoom and PowerPoint. Both offer built-in recording features that capture audio, video, and export the final file in MP4 format, suitable for submission.

This method allows you to display your slides while presenting on camera (optional). Any meeting software that records high-quality MP4 videos will work. Here are some helpful resources for specific platforms:

Note: Feel free to use any meeting software that meets the recording requirements.

Recording Tips:

  • Minimize background noise: Choose a quiet space with minimal echo. Avoid overly large rooms. Consider using sound-absorbing materials like carpets, curtains, or furniture.
  • Reliable internet connection: A wired connection is ideal, but a strong Wi-Fi connection will suffice.
  • High-quality audio: Use a good headset with a microphone positioned close to your mouth, but angled slightly off-center to avoid popping sounds. Avoid the built-in microphone on your computer.
  • Test recording: Before recording your entire presentation, do a short test run (a few minutes) to check audio and video quality, format (MP4), and bitrate. Make adjustments as needed.
