Submission Requirements and Peer Review Process
1. Initial Submission and Screening
- Submission: Authors must submit their papers through the conference’s submission system (https://e-conference.unair.ac.id) by the specified deadline.
- Preliminary Screening: The editorial team will perform an initial screening to ensure adherence to the submission guidelines, relevance to conference topics, and originality. Papers that do not meet these basic criteria will be desk-rejected.
2. Assignment to Reviewers
- Reviewer Selection: Each paper passing the initial screening will be assigned to two expert reviewers from the program committee based on their areas of expertise.
- Double-Blind Review: To ensure impartiality, the review process will be double-blind, meaning that both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.
3. Review Process
- Detailed Evaluation: Reviewers will evaluate papers based on originality, significance of the research problem, methodological rigor, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field.
- Comments and Feedback: Reviewers will provide detailed comments and constructive feedback to help authors improve their work. Each reviewer will also provide a recommendation (accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject).
4. Review Meeting and Decision Making
- Review Meeting: The program committee will convene to discuss the reviews. Papers with conflicting reviews will receive special attention to reach a consensus.
- Decision: Based on the reviewers’ recommendations and discussions, the program committee will make the final decision on each paper. The decisions will be communicated to the authors along with the reviewers’ comments.
5. Revision and Final Submission
- Minor and Major Revisions: Authors of papers requiring revisions (minor or major) will be given a specific timeframe to revise their papers addressing the reviewers’ comments.
- Re-submission and Re-evaluation: Revised papers will be re-evaluated by the original reviewers to ensure that the necessary improvements have been made.
6. Final Selection and Notification
- Final Selection: The program committee will make the final selection of papers to be included in the proceedings based on the revised submissions.
- Notification: Authors will be notified of the final decision and provided with any final formatting instructions.
