Guidelines for Abstract Preparation
Participants of ICPIAM 2025 are required to prepare their abstracts following the official formatting rules of the AIP Conference Proceedings as outlined below:
- Title
- Use Title Case (capitalize the first letter of each main word).
- Font: Times New Roman, 18 pt, bold, centered.
- Example:
The Title Goes Here with Each Initial Letter Capitalized
- Author’s Name(s)
- Format: First Name Surname1, a) and Author’s Name2, 3, b)
- Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt, centered.
- Use superscript numbers (1, 2, 3) to indicate author affiliations.
- Author Affiliations
- Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, italic, centered.
- If authors share the same affiliation, list it once and number accordingly.
- Example:
- 1 Department of Physics, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, Indonesia
- 2 Institute of Advanced Materials, Tokyo, Japan
- Author Emails
- Use superscript letters (a), (b), etc. to indicate the corresponding author’s email(s).
- Font: Times New Roman, 10 pt, italic, centered.
- Example:
- a) Corresponding author: your@emailaddress.xxx
- b) anotherauthor@thisaddress.yyy
- Abstract Body
- Use Microsoft Word template style: Abstract or Times New Roman, 9 pt, justified alignment, with left and right indents of 0.2".
- Begin the abstract with Abstract. (bold), followed by the main text in normal font.
- Maximum length: 250 words.
- The abstract should include: a brief background, research objectives, methods, main results, and conclusions.
- Additional Notes
- The abstract must be written in English.
- Submit the file in
.docxformat using the official ICPIAM 2025 abstract template. - Abstracts not following this format will not be considered for review.
