Salutogenesis is a concept that focuses on the origins of health and the factors that help individuals stay well, rather than on the causes of disease. This approach emphasizes resilience, stress management, and coherence in life, making it highly relevant to current global health challenges. As the importance of proactive and holistic health promotion grows, it becomes crucial to unite experts, practitioners, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and foster innovation based on salutogenic principles.

Therefore, the 3rd Happy and Healthy International Symposium, organized by the Airlangga Health Promotion Center (AHPC) with journals indexed by Scopus and Sinta at Universitas Airlangga, adopts the main theme "Health Promotion for Salutogenesis." This symposium serves as a global forum to explore strategic efforts in promoting sustainable health and well-being. There are two main activities in this event: a Call for Papers and an International Symposium aimed at gathering the latest ideas and research in health promotion rooted in the salutogenic model. The event will be held on October 15–16, 2025, at ASEEC Tower, Universitas Airlangga, Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia.
