Halal Value Chain (HVC) Transformation and Islamic Finance Innovation: Accelerating Inclusive and Resilient Economic Growth

The 5th International Conference on Islamic Economics, Business, Philanthropy, and PhD Colloquium (ICIEBP) 2026 is organized by the Department of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, in collaboration with Bank Indonesia. This year's conference is held as a satellite event of the Festival Ekonomi Syariah (FESyar) Bank Indonesia 2026, reinforcing its role as a strategic platform for advancing the Islamic economic and financial ecosystem in Indonesia and beyond.

Carrying the theme “Halal Value Chain (HVC) Transformation and Islamic Finance Innovation: Accelerating Inclusive and Resilient Economic Growth,” ICIEBP 2026 responds to the growing need for a stronger, more integrated halal ecosystem and a more innovative Islamic financial sector amid rapid digital transformation and global economic uncertainty. The conference brings together academics, researchers, practitioners, regulators, and students to exchange ideas, present cutting-edge research, and formulate collaborative strategies for strengthening the halal value chain and accelerating Islamic finance innovation.

ICIEBP 2026 also hosts the PhD Colloquium, providing a dedicated forum for doctoral candidates to present their research progress and receive constructive feedback from senior scholars and international experts in the field of Islamic economics and finance.
